The rate of power flow in an electromagnetic field is measured through the basic relationship, i.e., W(Watt)=V(Volts) X A (Ampere). The intensity of EMF is directly proportional to the number of electronic devices. When an area has a greater number of electronic appliances, the induced electromagnetic field becomes stronger. The speed of the electric current is determined by the voltage potential; the greater the potential difference, the faster the electrons will travel.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC), which regulates mobile phones, has set a radiation threshold of 1.6 watts per kilogram averaged across 1 gram of tissue for cell phones. However, most cell phones surpassed that limit by 2 millimeters or the space between your phone and your pocket. In 2021, the Children’s Health Defense won a landmark lawsuit against the FCC for inadequate protection guidelines for EMF exposure due to widespread EMF sickness. The FCC is now required to revise the guidelines within the year.
Meters to check EMF levels in your environment:
EMF & RF levels drastically vary in spaces.
